The TGB High School Choir program is made up of 5 choirs with over 360 students participating. The choir enjoys performing throughout the state of Arizona. We are an active part of the community we serve and are always looking for local performance opportunities.
The choir program at Trevor G. Browne High School has maintained strong continuity over the past three decades under the direction of only three directors: Mr. Carnelias Troup (1986-1993), Mr. Phil Sexauer (1993-2004), and Mr. Nick Halonen (2004-present). Mr. Nick Halonen is the longest tenured choir teacher in the history of TGB High School. Mr. Troy Meeker, also a conductor with the Phoenix Children’s Chorus, joined the choir program in 2015 and is adding to the legacy of strong choral music educators at Trevor G. Browne High School.
